Orientation
Macleod College welcomes all international students and their families to our community
Macleod College is located at the heart of the well-established suburb of Macleod, just 14 km north of the city of Melbourne. Macleod College is adjacent to Macleod Railway Station with regular trains to the city as well as links to local bus services.
Macleod College enjoys extensive sports fields and wide open spaces with many trees and native gardens. We are fortunate to be just across the road from the local community centre, playground, shopping precinct and YMCA, enabling the school to form close ties with the local community and extend these opportunities to our students. The Macleod College community are eager to help students and their families transition to life in Victoria.
Upon confirmation of enrolment, families would have received the ISP Pre-departure Guide containing important information to assist families and students in their transition to life and study in Melbourne. In addition, please see the links below for more information that will assist students, not only on arrival but also while they complete their studies with us. We hope that by staying informed about opportunities and services this will increase student enjoyment, immersion and safety while they are here in Australia.
In addition to these documents and websites, the dedicated International Student social room at Macleod College is resourced with booklets, pamphlets and vibrant displays highlighting the educational, social and recreational services available to them. Families and students are reminded that they can always ask staff for more specific information when required.
We hope that all international students experience an engaging, unique and supported educational experience while studying with us at Macleod College.
