Year 07
During Term 1 Year 07 students spend 3 days at the Valley Homestead Camp next to the Ovens River, where they participate in transition activities designed to build confidence and relationships with their teachers and peers.
“Camp has a tandem flying fox, games night, bush survival activities, and a high ropes course. The tandem flying fox was a highlight because you can feel the RUSH! It feels like you’re rushing through the air and then when you land, you have to race the other person to the top of the landing!”
Year 08
Students are given the opportunity to attend Year 8 Camp at The Alexandra Adventure Resort.
Whilst on this camp, students may be involved in activities such as: Rock Climbing, Canoeing, Ropes courses, Archery, Flying fox, Raft building and other activities.
Year 09
The City Experience is an integral part of the Year 9 program during which the students are able to explore the city of Melbourne from a cultural, historical and personal perspective. They participate in activities such as; cruising down the Yarra and visiting the Big Issue offices. Students spend 3 days in the city, returning home every afternoon.
Specialist Camps
Students involved in specialist programs will also enjoy the benefit of intensive camps that support their program. Music, VCAL, Basketball and German students all have the opportunity to go on tour or camp with their peers and build up skills, participate in team building, and having fun.
